Unsaid Promises

I know you never made promises,

I know we never talked about eternity,

But I always saw a glimpse of it in your eyes,

I always felt the promises of growing old together when you touched me,

Every time I was in your arms wrapped around, you made so many unsaid promises

All those promises were false

I know you never said them but I saw them in your eyes, in your touch

Was those touches were all lies

Or I was wrong all the time

I was believing in what was a mere dream

Was I- the one who felt all those feelings?

Or I was just dumb headed to believe in your eyes rather than listening those words

What do you mean ?

Feeling of wholesome with you was also a lie

Those many unsaid emotions in your eyes were so easy to disappear that it vanished in an eyelash blink

What is it- tell me, Was I, was the only person in love

Was I the only one who left all those unsaid promises.
